Our daily schedule is designed to provide children with a broad range of experiences, including large and small group interaction, individually-selected exploration, play periods, physical activity, outdoor experiences, nutrition and hygiene care.

Happy Hippo is open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. (full time program).  The basic preschool hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. with the option of quality day care in the morning from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.  Children enrolled in the  afternoon enrichment program from  3:30 p.m. and to 6:00 p.m. will have specialty teachers for lessons in Story Time, Art, Spanish, Ball Skills & Fitness and Science (included in the tuition).

Two healthy snacks are provided by the school.  We strive to offer nutritious foods including at least two groups of the food pyramid as required by the state.  Also, no sodas, gum or excessive amounts of sugar are allowed at the school.

11:00 – 11:05     Closure (Discussion of what was learned)

11:05 – 11:35     Focus Activity*

11:35 – 12:15     Wash hands, Bathroom, Lunch

12:15 – 12:30     Get ready for rest time (bathroom, get beds ready)

12:30 – 13:00     Story Time

13:00 – 14:30     Rest Time

14:30 – 14:50     Get Up, Stretch, Bathroom

15:00 – 15:15     Snack Time and Outside Play
